The Auberge des Gorges du Loup hosts weddings of up to 200 guests in Tourrettes-sur-Loup, in the hills behind Vence and Grasse. The dining room, the terrace facing the gorges, the kitchen and the hotel are all in one place: no imposed caterer, no village hall to decorate, and your family and friends sleep on site.
A gorge setting for your wedding meal
The inn stands at the entrance to the Gorges du Loup, on the riverbank, facing the hilltop village of Gourdon. The shaded terrace, full of flowers in the warmer months, hosts the drinks reception and the meal in the open air. The garden is perfect for photos.
In winter or when the weather is uncertain, the rustic dining room with its large fireplace and wood fire takes over. Choose one or the other, or both, depending on the season and the number of guests.
How many guests can you host?
Up to 160 guests in the dining room and 200 on the terrace. The meal can be seated or a buffet, at lunch or dinner. A second room by the entrance can be used as a children's area or a bar.
That, along with the kitchen on site, is what sets the inn apart from a hired hall. It has been hosting large parties since 1991, and on the day it shows in how smoothly the service runs.
The package
What's included in the wedding package?
The inn's all-inclusive package covers the aperitif, the menu of your choice, dessert, wine and coffee. The menu is put together with the kitchen, using local produce and the house's signature dishes. Spit roasts are available to order.
Not included: entertainment, champagne (corkage applies) and any extras not in the brochure. For music, the inn recommends a DJ or an entertainer. You receive a personalised quote after an initial conversation about the date, the number of guests and your budget.
Rooms on site for the couple and their families
The inn's hotel has 5 double and triple rooms above the restaurant. The newlyweds, parents or witnesses can stay on site and have breakfast on the terrace the next morning.
For other guests, there is accommodation in Tourrettes-sur-Loup, Vence, Grasse and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, less than 20 minutes away. Free private parking is reserved for guests in front of the inn. For room details, see accommodation for your wedding.
